A & J Electronics corporation was founded in 1981 as an electronic assembly facility and in the same year acquired all of the assets of Semco Machine Shop. The growth that followed was the direct result of the founders 31 years of mechanical design experience combined with the people, machines, and material required.
Molds, dies, production machining, and bench top assembly tooling were produced by the thousands until 1988 when the aquisition of Precision Electronic Metal Stamping Corporation necessitated a new and larger facility. Progressive stamping dies and fully automatic machines from concept to completion were then also accomplished quite successfully in extremely short lead times, due primarily to the total capability now assembled in one place.
Capability has continued to grow to the present day where electrical discharge machines, CNC's mills, grinders and computers housed in a 10,500 sq. ft. Building continue to provide its founders with the necessary tools to successfully resolve some of the industrys most challenging programs.
A & J will continue to expand technically, diversify, and plan "long term", in the coming years, remaining privately held, and hopefully offsetting some of the loss of technology that our economy has experienced in recent years.
